Review for Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary Inc, Gainesville, FL, USA
I worked for Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary for about a year and enjoyed every minute of it. I worked in the office (known as "Monkey Business") assisting with data entry, general clerical needs, etc. The other two women in the office had been there for many years and were very dedicated and skilled in their jobs. The volunteers who worked with the monkeys were also very dedicated and loved their work. I met many groups of volunteers from the University of Florida as well as from the local college who had never worked around primates before and they greatly enjoyed their experience at Jungle Friends; quite a few of the groups and individuals returned regularly. I don't think enough good things can be said about the director, Kari Bagnall. Her energy, dedication and enthusiasm are contagious and are unequaled in my experience. Her love of animals in general is boundless. She is a regular at animal rights conferences all over the country, usually as a guest speaker, and really enjoys educating others.

Oh Carol, thank you...we sure do miss you around here! You have quite a few new monkeys to meet. You really should come out for a visit, you won't believe how we have grown, I don't believe how much we have grown. And we still have a lot of the old die-hards here monkeying around :-)!
