Review for Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kerala, , India

Visiting Amma and serving her charities for the past 7 years has given me hope in my spirit where there was once deep sadness, light in my heart which often seemed sad and brillance to my mind which was often my worst enemy. I have spent months at a time traveling with Amma, watching her serve the needy selflessly. In all the moments of each hour, day and month, she has always given sincere blessings and support to people, expecting nothing in return. Her message of "love and service" is one that she herself is the highest example of always. She is one of the world's greatest fortunes. Kamlesh I Singh, San Diego, CA. USA.

Amma programs throughout the United States and India.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

provide more funding, so that more people could be helped.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

There is a strong sense of compassion, faith and wisdom within the participants of the program.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Tour staff who travel with Amma for months at a time, volunteers from various areas of the world, children who were being enriched and inspired by her programs for the youth. Amma's Swamis, astrologers and Bramacharis who are available for support.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

help tremendously with people who pray from the depths of their hearts each day for a blessing like the MA Math and its incredible programs. Each person who is assisted will be further able to share their talents with others, uplifting humanity.

Ways to make it better...

There were larger facilities to hold all the people who come to visit Amma.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

getting more people involved to keep up with the increasing needs of those less fortunate than us.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Whatever funding the MA Math receives would be cherished and put to the best use possible. Thank you so much for considering the support!!!

Role:  Volunteer & fundraisers such as yoga retreats to riase money charities, support free IAM Meditation program, volunteer at Amma programs at various booths serving attendees of the program, environmental awarness beach clean up, sing at music programs creating awarenes.
