Review for Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kerala, , India
When the earthquake struck Gujarat in 2001, the Mata Amritanandamayi Math immediately traveled to the area, not only sending mobile medical units but also undertaking the task of rebuilding two villages that had been leveled by the earthquake. I participated in some of the rebuilding efforts. This is just one of many, MANY charitable projects undertaken by the Math, under the direction of Amma. Eight years later, Amma's humanitarian activities are still growing and growing. I know of no other person alive today who does so much good in the world.
