I have attended several of STAR's fundraisers this year and was impressed by the dedication of the volunteers and the mission of the organization. I especially appreciate that STAR considers the needs of its clients after adoptions have happened, offering financial assistance for medical care and food to those who need help. I think so many people forget about the costs of caring for a pet. It is wonderful and important that STAR educates people about this, and devotes resources to helping people care for their beloved pets.
