Review for Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary Inc, Gainesville, FL, USA
I have been working as an intern and apprentice at Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary for well over a year and I love it. What makes Jungle Friends exceptional is it's commitment to the animals, not the people. Jungle Friends goes above and beyond the minimum standard of care for the monkeys with naturalistic habitats and fresh produce every day. At Jungle Friends, the monkeys get to be the wild animals they are, not dolls to dress up for amusement or subjects for experimentation. They get to play with their monkey friends doing monkey things. Everyone at Jungle Friends is dedicated to the monkeys' welfare. The sign of a happy animal is one that plays. Walking through the monkey-yard you can see all the monkeys engaging in playful antics with their friends. It always brings a smile to my face to see them play. This really and truly is an amazing place that is, and always will be, about the monkeys!
