This is an amazing organization whose charitable contributions stretch around the globe. I am personally involved with our local soup kitchen (Mother's Kitchen). We serve a nutritionally balanced, vegetarian meal 1x a month to those are hungry. We obtain food donations from some of the finest food establishments in the city. The number of guests we serve is steadily rising due, I think, to the economic downturn. We also provide food for guests to take home and gently used clothing.
