CASAS is my favorite of all non-profits. I am totally impressed by the work done by the all-volunteer staff and I am a regular donor to the shelter. I've already adopted one cat and am currently thinking about another one. CASAS is a fabulous no-kill shelter, where cats can run free and interact with the other cats and the volunteers. CASAS has excellent veterinary services, a spay/neuter program, and dedicated volunteers who make sure that all animals stay healthy and happy. I love visiting the shelter and playing with the kitties. When I adopt a cat, I know that she/he has been spayed/neutered, that it has all the necessary shots, has a chip, is healthy, and has been socialized to other cats. I wish I could provided a forever home for more of them. But I also know that CASAS has a very high adoption rate and that the animals who are not adopted get to remain at the shelter, safe and sound, for the rest of their lives. I can't believe how many volunteers give their time to make this the best shelter in the region. They're amazing!
