Review for On Your Feet, Inc., Spring Valley, CA, USA
As a volunteer for On Your Feet, I've got to experience first hand the AMAZING work and efforts that this nonprofit is putting forth in the community and all over. I believe that they have not only been great at providing for the community but a great motivation for the community to strive through the rough times. They serve as a reminder that someone out there cares for the well being of those who are afflicted during this down and out economy. I've truly been inspired by these wonderful people to always be kind and think of others no matter my current situation. For even if you can only offer a warm smile and a point in the right direction, you never know - you may be that helping hand that lifts someone to get back on their feet.

Did your volunteer experience have an effect on you? (teaching you a new skill, or introducing new friends, etc.)
My customer service skills have been kicked up a notch! I think my overall outlook on the community in general has also been altered. I've never taken the time to consider all of the people who may need help. My eyes have definitely been opened to the world of giving!
How did this volunteer experience make you feel?
Humbled and truly grateful for the blessings I have in my own life. Above all I've learned and felt during my experiences with this organization though, I've been moved more by the response of those who have been helped.
