I have collected items for donation, volunteered in the warehouse and donated to their annual auction. It is a great feeling to know I am helping someone and not being part of a wasteful throw away society. My husband was in there one day fixing the space heaters and he saw a young dad sit in a recliner and say "Now this is a chair!". The Wish Giver working with the family asked if he wanted it. The guy was stunned. My husband had tears in his eyes as he recalled how excited this guy was over the fact that he was getting a second hand recliner. One man's trash was definitely another man's treasure. I thank the people there for letting me be part of their efforts.
