Review for Cookies for Kids Cancer, Califon, NJ, USA
Cookies for Kids' Cancer is a charity that is near and dear to our hearts. Personally knowing the Witt family and their battle with childhood cancer moved us to action 10 years ago. Our family is committed to raising funds for childhood cancer research. We host an annual Bake Sale at a local lacrosse tournament in town every year. We've rasied over $50,000 over the years. In addition we organize a pajama day at our elementary school. Both are great easy ways to involve not only our children but so many local children as well. Giving back is so important and even more important to instill in our children. CFKC is such a great way to do this! Children can make signs, sell products, and shout out the message! Who can resist cute kids doing GOOD?! LOVE LOVE LOVE Cookis for Kids' Cancer!
Review for Cookies for Kids Cancer, Califon, NJ, USA
This is an incredible organization that enables everyone - from kids to adults - to make a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer. It creates awareness in such a simple way -- a good old fashioned bake sale. Everyone has fun, and feels great about the difference they are making - whether they are baking cookies, selling cookies, or spreading the news about the organization. The concept is so contagious that it often inspires others who see it to want to do the same in their own environment. The founders of CFKC suffered the ultimate loss and now their organization inspires people all over the world to make a difference.
