Living Waters and Ray Comfort were used by the Holy Spirit to racially change my life in 2008. A friend turned me on to a radio podcast called The Way of the Master Radio. I heard Ray and Todd Freil share the gospel with numerous people. I was rather upset with their style, but felt compelled to listen over and over. I was raised Southern Baptist and "asked Jesus into my heart" at age 8. And again at 13 and several other times. In June of 2008 God convicted me of my need of a Savior. Ray's voice quoting Revelation 21:8 about liars is burned in my brain. God revealed to me that I was the biggest liar of all. I was partying Saturday night and leading ministry groups at church Sunday morning. On June 1, 2008 at 10:37pm I curled up in a ball on the couch in my parents basement and wept uncontrollably. My wife wondered what was the matter. I explained to her how sick and tired I was about lying to everyone with my false lifestyle. It was many months until I realized (after hearing Ray's teaching on true and false conversions) that what happened that might was radically different. I was not being called to the pastoral ministry (as some had explained my experience), but rather I was being called to be a new creation in Christ. I got a new heart and new desires that night. My life has been forever changed because of the faithful saints at Living Waters. I have purchased tracts and training materials from Living Waters. I have lead groups of fellow Christians in The Way of the Master Basic Training Course. I am attempting to complete the School of Biblical Evangelism online course, but am currently locked out of my account. I have started the process of creating a non-profit ministry with my friend to help churches reach the lost in their communities. This summer we held 2 block parties where over 250 people heard the gospel. Last week, we gave away over 800 tracts and open air preached to about 200 people at a local fair. Next month we will hold a Truth or Terror event where we expect over 1000 people will hear the gospel. All this because of, and for, our Lord Jesus Christ. And all this because Living Waters was faithful to equip me to grow. My only criticism, I can't get in my online account and the password reset goes to an old disabled email address.
