Review for The YP Foundation, New Delhi, , India

Rating: 5 stars

was really different.. i remember i randomly went for the induction with a friend and while sitting there we were told abt all the projects and different work all of them were doing and the passion which was emanating from the old volunteers and staff present there just did it for me.. i knew i wanted to join this organisation.. i joint the branch working with the performing arts and specially with spreading awareness about the music scene in delhi( something which interested me because music and me go together) ..I loved the fact that there was so much to do, so many ideas floating around and the fact that u had the freedom to voice ure opinion and it would be heard and implemented as part of the major plan.. after working for a year with the organisation ive learnt a lot not only w.r.t aspects of the music scene in delhi and how to promote it( which i try and do religiously specially among my frnds :D) but also got to know a lot about other projects and the work each one of them do, which is just fab to put it briefly! if i'm given some more time and ability to manage things better i wouldnt leave the yp for sure!though u never know i might just join it again cuz i do miss it quite a bit!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the fact that i know so much more about original music in india and specially the scene in delhi and i appreciate the need to make it known to more people and i know ways through which it can be done even if at a personal level.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

its fun, its creative, its passionately taking up a certain cause and working towards it..

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

like me collge going kids.. were very firmly driven towards doing the owkr in hand and were fun and creative and open

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Do a LOT! more than it does currently and at a bigger level.. it could spread to other cities too and thus the causes different projects under it work for can be networked at a larger scale..

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

One time

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
