Review for National Anti-Vivisection Society, Chicago, IL, USA
National Anti-Vivisection Society is the best animal rights charity bar none. They continue to focus on their core mission and do it consistently and effectively. They are science based and continue to bring forth the best research and ideas that can help save animals that are subject to horrific lab experiments and yet these new ideas are even better at helping medical researchers with combating disease. A fabulous model of how all charities should function.
Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
I do not understand how they rate so high when they spent in 2010- 68 million on programs and 53 million on fundraising - that is way too much. the ratio should never be more than 25% spent on fundraising.
