my name is Jessica Groom. i am 18 years old i arrived here on august 21,2012 after aging out of foster care and loosing everything i found myself in a desperate situation . I was homeless and had no where to turn .I heard about a lot of good things about the mission. I got here and was greeted with open arms .it is a great place for a new start .you really feel like family they do not judge we all know there is a reason for your being here and everyone has a story.everyone is treated fairly and with respect. when there is an issue it will be resolved .the mission is a great place they really help you to get back on your feet . the mission has helped me in so many ways physically ,emotionally ,and mentally. i and grateful that there are still places like this .
