MAPS is one of the most extraordinary nonforprofit organizations I know. Their dedicated leaders, enormous volunteer base, diversity of supporters, unique expertise in the field and hard work puts them on the forefront among most effective nonforprofits today.  MAPS has been able to bring together scientists and thinkers, health practitioners and faith leaders, cutting edge research institutions and diverse ethno - cultural wisdom practitioners, visionaries and community leaders from across the globe to create more positive, more humane and more hopeful world. MAPS transformative work is providing many people with hope towards healing, recovery and wholeness when it is most needed in their lives. I am very honored to know them.
