in march 2012, i was diagnosed with breast cancer. after many medical appointments and decisions, i had surgery in may. i knew i needed help with the emotions which followed but could not get to ucla on a regular basis for their program. then, wespark was recommended. i had my intake with bonnie who is wonderfully compassionate, and started going to support groups. the experience has been life changing. i have talked with others who have cancer and gone to a breast cancer networking group. some of the horror and fear of a cancer diagnosis are subsiding. i am connecting with other women in group, where we can discuss the details of our surgeries, treatment and emotions. valuable information about treatment and resources is available also. i look forward to going every week and am so greatful wespark exists.
