Review for Humane Society for Seattle-King Co, Bellevue, WA, USA
I have been volunteering with the Humane Society for Seattle/King County for almost 20 years. They are the best animal organization I have ever worked with. They reach the community in many ways, from offering low cost spay/neuter events, to providing dog and cat food to low income seniors and people with HIV?AIDS, to having a huge network of volunteers to help with their fundraising and training. They also have one of the best save rates for animals in the country. They often take animals from other shelters to help them get adopted. They really care about making sure people and animals are aligned for the best fit to ensure it is a forever home.

Review for Humane Society for Seattle-King Co, Bellevue, WA, USA
I have been volunteering at the Humane Society for Seattle/King County for 15 years. They are instrumental in not only placing animals for adoption, but working to ensure people understand how important the relationship between people and their pets is. As I've watched this organization grow, I can see firsthand the fruits of our labors. They provide dog and cat food to low income seniors and those with HIV/AIDS who would otherwise not be able to keep their pets. There is a huge bank of volunteers who foster pets to ensure they are not turned away when the shelter is full or when animals are sick and need some time to heal. Their veterinary department is top notch, and the staff is so helpful. I plan on spending many more years volunteering there!
