Review for Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network Inc, Philidelphia, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Besides serving a crucial need in our community of housing homeless families, NPIHN offers an invaluable service to its volunteers. Through serving homeless families in a variety of ways, volunteers of all ages and religions are afforded the opportunity of putting a face on the phenomenon of homelessness. Volunteers see that "homeless" people are exactly like anyone else and deserve a decent place to live and assistance raising their family. Clients and volunteers can get to know each other a little bit and thus increase the chances of decreasing homelessness. Also, the executive director of this organization is one of the smartest people I know!
