Review for Youth Musical Theater Company, Berkeley, CA, USA
Watched one of the YMTC's West Side Story performances. It's been spectacular! The singing, acting and dancing of the lead actors (Tony, Riff, Maria, Bernardo, and of course the dazzling Anita) showed superb talent as well as professionalism and attention to detail. The music score and the interplay between the cast and the live orchestra were flawless. It is remarkable to see such a polished production being carried out (mostly) by high school students. My gratitude goes to the YMTC staff and volunteers for making this possible. Thank you all!
