Review for Hearts Unite The Globe Incorporated, Temple, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I met Anna many years ago via the Internet and then in person. Our children are both heart warriors. When my daughter was a teenager, Anna encouraged me to write for her book, Heart of a Mother. Over the years we have become wonderful friends who have a common mission of educating about and spreading awareness about CHD. When Anna began her radio show, I volunteered to help. Each week I help spread awareness and educate by sharing information on social media about the upcoming Heart to Heart with Anna radio show. I have also been a host and guest on the show. This project helps many CHD families! Volunteering for this organization is a full filling way to give back to our CHD community.

Review for Adult Congenital Heart Association Inc, Media, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

My daughter was born in 1983 with serious complex heart defects. Today she is 29 years old. This site has helped with transition from pediatric to adult doctors. We have used the directory to find good ACHD doctors.

Review for Congenital Heart Information Network, Margate City, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been involved with this organization since its inception. When my daughter was about 11 years old - in 1994 - I got my first computer. I looked and looked for information on her heart defect and began correponding with other parents of heart kids. C.H.I.N. has evolved through time into a great place for information and support. I have made many "heart" friends via this forum. I had finally found a place where I could talk to people who were having the same experiences as my family was faced with. I cannot say enough wonderful words about C.H.I.N. and its founder, Mona Barmash.
