I'm a 8.5-year survivor of stage IV CRC who got involved originally through Call on Congress, referred by another fellow survivor. That was about 6 years ago, and the process continues! It's a great organization for survivors who want to be involved in actively making a difference for other patients/survivors throughout the country. Helping influence legislation regarding research funding, screening and prevention is extremely gratifying, and FCRC also has information available to patients that will help them in their fight.
