Review for Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Boston, MA, USA
On 6/21/12, I volunteered with 28 other employees from Liberty Mutual Insurance as part of our company's 100th birthday celebration (between June 21 & 22, Liberty Mutual employees contributed 106,000 hours of volunteerism to 760 different charities across 19 countries!) We spent the morning working with the horticultural team to clean out beds, pull weeds, deadhead flowers and, generally, spruce up the Greenway at the North End park. We had an awesome experience and greatly appreciate the direction provided by the Lead Horticulturalist, Anthony. I am really proud of my entire group for coming out and putting their best foot forward to clean up the Greenway . It feels good to be part of something so big so close to home in Boston. A big thank you also goes out to Lisa for helping to coordinate our team efforts!
