PAPOLI
Review for American Foundation For Children With AIDS, Inc., Harrisburg, PA, USA
I come from Papoli village, some 130 miles East of Kampala in Uganda-Africa, where the great work of AFCA is seen, felt and experienced by members of our village and beyond.
AFCA has contributed enormously to our work of supporting and treating children and families infected and affected by HIV AIDS at our Safehouse-The Robert H Cooley Pediatric clinic, supported over 3,200 kids in our preschool , primary school and 5 other neighboring schools with scholastic materials, school bags, classroom and teacher supplies, school bags with supplies, sanitary pads for the girlchild who would initially miss one third of class during periods,Professional skills training for nurses and doctors, Medical supplies for the village clinic, Tororo Hospital, Mulanda Health centre 4, Mbale Regional referral hospital and walking aids for people with disabilities.
These donation are life saving and life improving for all the target groups and for all these the people of Papoli and surrounding communities remain so greatful to God for this wonderful support from people they do not even know and this reinforces their believe in their God, for providing when life is at its’ lowest.
Tanya and team thank you and God bless.
Emma.
