Review for Metropolitan New York Coordinating Council on Jewish Poverty, New York, NY, USA
I turned to the Met council a few times in the past few years when I had to find furniture/bedding for new immigrants to our community. In one case, a new family to our community had to leave their apartment immediately because their children were getting bitten by bedbugs. Met council provided brand new beds as well as furniture for them in a new apartment that we found for them. In another instance, they provided bedroom furniture for a newly arrived family. They were a real life saver.
