The MIRA Foundation USA has provided an extremely bright light in the very dark world of blindness to our son, Maxwell through a guide dog program for children who are eleven years old or older. There are many organizations which cater to late teens who are visually impaired but we only found one, MIRA who strongly believes that young children are responsible and capable of handling this life changing opportunity. We observed the MIRA management team to be quite competent and refreshingly frugal. The good work that the MIRA Foundation is achieving by providing highly trained guide dogs to children is commendable and therefore they should receive recognition commensurate with their outstanding results.
