I just returned home from a wonderful visit from the VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids Michigan. What a jewel in a world that sometimes seems not to care. The compassion, education and knowledge that the staff show the families here is outstanding. Watching and hearing the stories of past and current families who have utilized this facility over the past 94 years gives you a warm feeling. I wish everyone could tour this facility and experience the love and life lessons that are taught to the families that need these services and then go out into the world and become successful!

AS a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and a Life member of the VFW National Children's Home it gives me great pleasure to support such a wonderful part of the VFW. The housing, caring and support that our Military children , spouses and entire families recieve from the Home are unmatch anywhere in the US. As a non-profit they rely only on the donations of others which in itself makes their accomplishments outstanding. Seeing how happy and well nurtured the children are gives you a very warm and happy feeling.
