Review for The Hillel JUC of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA
I worked in planning and funding with Hillel JUC and had an opportunity to meet regularly with the Director and President. Hillel JUC is an amazing organization. It is wonderful to walk through the building to see all of the student run programss and to feel the buzz of energy that exists there. JUC provides great resources to students. The activities that are run inside and outside of the building are wonderful, spanning across universities and religous affiliations. Hillel JUC has been recognized nationally and by several of the universities that they serve as a top notch organization. Most telling is a Friday night at the building when three different services are going on and dinner is filled to capacity and beyond!

Review for J'Burgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA
I have worked with J'Burgh through my job at the UJF. My role was originally to review their requests for funding. We originally funded J'Burgh because it was filling a much needed gap in services to young adults in Pittsburgh. We continued to fund them, through campaign and throough outreach grants because of the innovative programming that they offer and programs that people are eager to attend. I receive weekly updates from J'Burgh and I am continually impressed by their activities and participation. I have heard great word of mouth in the community. David Katz is a phenomenal leader and an outstanding asset to this group and the community.
