My time after injury in Afghanistan in 2011 where I lost my right leg would have been substantially more complicated without Veterans Airlift Command. They helped my family and I in ways that I am not sure I will ever truly be able to show. Their ability to gather amazing patriots who are willing to donate their time, aircraft and finances in hopes of getting some of America’s finest going through recovery from point A to point B is astonishing. They will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I can not begin to talk about how amazing this organization is. Not only do they attract some of the finest people to help fly veterans, but it builds relationships that we will be able to secure for life. There are two pilots that outside of the organization I have communicated with and am blessed to know. The service is beyond prompt and the people behind the scenes know nothing but kindness!
