Review for Shepherds Pantry, Glendora, CA, USA
Shepherd's Pantry provides food, clothing, resource counseling and children's reading tutor progams to low-income families in a ten city area within the San Gabriel Valley, CA. They operate a really well organized facility in Glendora, CA that is very clean and comfortable. All of their volunteers are very friendly, curtious and willing to help in any way they can. They provide a good amount of non-perishable food and usually have toiletry products as well such as shampoo and toothpaste plus they distribute baby products including diapers. Their clothing store is really special and is organized like a boutique. On Monday afternoons they provide children's reading tutor programs for the children of the families they serve. They also have volunteers who meet with each family and provide resource materials and guidance that may help solve some of their issues.
