My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for The YP Foundation, New Delhi, , India
The YP gave me my first taste of the real world. Working with the independent music scene in Delhi was great, but learning how to draft proposals, conduct meetings, giving presentations, meeting deadlines, and thinking on the spot was actually what I needed to learn. From being a volunteer to staff to a volunteer again has been two years of crazy amounts of creativity and well, lots of work. Thanks to TYPF I now have great work experience and a photography portfolio to boot!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the way I look at social issues. And yes, Music is an issue too.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
its ability to do a lot of serious work, without sucking the fun out of it.

Review for Music Basti, New Delhi, , India
I think it truly is hard to put this words and attending a workshop is the only way to understand the project. To be able to just put out all worries and have fun with the children for a couple of hours while taking pictures, did more for me than I could ever imagine! The vibe, enthusiasm and pure fun is infectious! The workshops really need to expand now. I am able to use my photography for a cause, and at the same time listen to such fantastic artistes. It really doesn't get better than that!
