As a current volunteer, I assist the organization with developing ideas for marketing campaigns and help with grants and database updating. For example, I recently worked on a "tweet blast," using the social media network Twitter, to spread the word about Earth Day and give environmental tips and information. The staff that I have worked with have been very open and friendly, and I feel very comfortable communicating with them. They are very flexible with my schedule and assign me meaningful tasks and projects that utilize my skills.

It has taught me new skills on social media and has allowed me a platform to develop my knowledge and skills. I have also learned a lot about environmentalism and conservation.
