Review for Wyoming Association For Creative Youth W A C Y, Lander, WY, USA
Wyoming Association for Creative Youth (WACY) pronouned wacky proudly sponsors Wyoming Destination ImagiNation (DI). WY DI teaches creativity, teamwork and problem solving to students K-12, and University Levels. In our youth-centered program, students teams solve Challenges & present their solutions at Tournments. We usually reach over 500 students year, with over 400 of them attending tournments. This is run by a group of volunteer who have watched the change in students as they experience the FUN and Explore & Develop life long skills. We have been a non-profit in Wyoming for nearly 25 years, and going into our 11th year with Destination ImagiNation. Please contact us with any questions or comments.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the number of student participants that have gone on and became leaders in our communities. They are not afraid of a challenge!
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
That the students are having FUN, while learning real life skills. They have the skills to think on their feet, and know that "NO" is not an answer and that there is more than ONE solution to a challenge. You can learn by failure,& come out on top.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
great. One of the best things in DI is that the adults are there only to advise and guide the kids. They do all the work and solve the challenges. We get to sit back and enjoy the brightest kids! Wyoming has very creative students!
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
provide DI to every student. We could open the door to experiences in arts and science, math and english that are not done at schools. We give the kids international contact. They meet other peers for a week, and that is overwhelming for WY kids. Culture!
