Review for The Humane Society of the United States, Washington, DC, USA
Many people don't understand the scope and mission of the HSUS. It is NOT a shelter. It is a lobbying group that helps promote social change in regards to animal welfare. They fight the fight the "little guys" can't. Every humane law out there, we owe to HSUS.
Their financial support of smaller shelters doing good work is exceptional.

Review for Heart of Phoenix Equine Rescue Inc., Shoals, WV, USA
An excellent group of truly dedicated individuals. The amount of good that HoPER accomplishes with limited funding and personnel is inspiring. They also collaborate efforts well with other organizations, which is unique.
