Review for Wildlife Center of Virginia, Waynesboro, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been working with the Wildlife Center of Virginia since its inception by way of: transporting captured or orphaned wild animals and birds to them for vet care; have participated in excellent training programs for beginning and advanced wildlife rehabilitators- and have sent many new rehabbers to them for help, guidance, and training; have participated in on line discussions and training; have watched their Wildlife Veterinarians as they have cared for the Wild Creatures of Virginia and been trained to go out to other states and countries to care for wild animals and birds. In all things, this is a center for the care of the wild that shines bright on manty and every level including working and educating the public on the need to cre boout our national treasures of all kinds of wildlife. It has maintained "Critter Cams" which have excited people all across the nation to watch, learn, and respect our wildlife- especially in the care of three orphaned American Bald Eagles from the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Personally, I have been treated with dignity and respect, as have the wild things under their excellent care. The co-founder and Ed Clark has realized and nurtured The Wildlife Center of Virginia into one of the top Centers and Hospitals for the care of injured and orphaned wild animals and birds..
