Review for Pauline Auberle Foundation, Mckeesport, PA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

For 60 years, Auberle has been at the forefront of helping troubled children and families heal themselves. Auberle has been working with families and youth to help them get ready for life and create a better future for themsleves with outcome/results based programs. the current discourse in health and human services focuses on prevention being the key to solving many of today's challenges - Auberle has been practicing it for decades. One very successful program is SNAPĀ® (Stop Now and Plan). SNAPĀ® helps children and parents deal effectively with anger by teaching them how to respond in a way that makes their problems smaller, not bigger. With help and practice, children and parents are able to stop, calm down and generate positive solutions at the 'snap of their fingers.' This is just an example: Auberle has many more programs including shleter services, in-home services, transitionla living and youth aging out - all focused on changing lives one child/family at a time.
