Review for Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation, Kansas City, MO, USA
I'm the widow of a WW11 & Korean vet . I held two offices in the Vfw Womens Auxiliary ,Patriotic Instructor & Chaplain .I also worked as a day time Bartender at this Harlingen ,Texas VFW post 2410 for over three years .I volunteered every chance I got and drew and painted all the service flags on the fence . The mission of the post is to help vets and widows . The commander hated me and let it be known in every way he could .He would cuss me out and miss treated me all the time .When I complained it only got worse .I was fired for no reason on July 7,2010 and now on unemployment and have filed a lawsuit against my post .

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Foundation is a wholly seperate charitable entity of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Thus, we have no direct connection to local VFW Posts nor are we involved with any of their activities. In other words, this alleged complaint is in no way associated to the operation or outreach of the VFW Foundation. Simply stated, the sole mission of the VFW Foundation is to support urgently needed programs and services that boost the morale of U.S. troops overseas, their families back home and America's often forgotten veterans. We are extremely proud of our unblemished record of responsible fund management and patriotic concern for those among us who have or are currently serving our great country.
