Unlike the previous poster, I actually do have expertise in this field, and I reviewed all of this organization's filings and audits going back for years. What they show is that the CEO of this organization made exactly the median salary of persons working in his capacity in similarly sized organizations based in New York City until the recession, at which time the CEO took a sizable pay cut. Simultaneously, the organization's program spending actually increased. Any person who actually were a non-profit professional would know that these are hallmarks of excellent management and a commitment to the mission of the organization on the part of its leadership, so I'm not so sure that the previous poster has any kind of expertise in this field whatsoever. Sounds more to me like someone with an axe to grind . . .
