Review for The YP Foundation, New Delhi, , India
I joined the organization because it was a youth run and led initiative. It was really uplifting to see so many other young people like me doing something they cared for passionately. I worked with a project called VOICES, in The YP Foundation-VOICES conducts facilitative workshops with school students on issues of identity, stereotypes, substance use, body esteem etc. I really like the project because when I was in school I felt the need for a project like this, something which would allow me to speak freely about these sensitive issues. It also helped me to be more open-minded and empathetic. Besides VOICES, The YP Foundation has some great projects, working in a huge number of areas. It is a unique organization that is run solely by the passion in people. Working for it really made me feel like I made a little difference somewhere.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
in my overall development. Yes, the project VOICES is for school children but the training volunteers get really makes a difference to us. My communication skills shot up, I was open to more perspectives, I came to terms with the politics of these issues.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The enthusiasm and the passion. It is such a refreshing and charged environment. It makes you want to do something and put in a little more!
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
From all over the place! Anyone and everyone is allowed to join! It really helped me connect with a lot of college students that I would have never got the chance to otherwise :)
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Work on issues and areas that are completely ignored and unobserved! Wow, the scope would be tremendous!
