Review for Freedom From Religion, Inc., Madison, WI, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I was a member of FFRF for 10 years before I became a board member this year. I have always been impressed with the total dedication of the co-presidents, Annie Laurie Gaylor and Dan Barker, and the staff. No one works harder to educate about, and affirm the constitutional separation of church and state. No violation is too small to escape FFRF's notice, and they have a very good track record in getting violators to see the error of their ways. The Legal Department is kept very busy and their work is likely to increase under the new administration. This organization continues to be one of the major players in the First Amendment arena. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting to keep religion out of all levels of government. Request a free copy of their newsletter at and see for yourself.

Review for Doctors Without Borders USA Inc, New York, NY, USA

Rating: 3 stars

Like some others who have commented, I receive about one mailing per month from this charity, each with a 45-cent stamp on the enclosed envelope. How many people are likely to donate this frequently? I feel it is a real waste of money on their part and would like to see that money go to their field work instead. If people want to donate, they will provide their own stamp! This practice has made me less likely to contribute in the future.
