Review for Lawrence Brook Watershed Partnership Inc, Milltown, NJ, USA
I volunteered with the LBWP and served on its Board until leaving the area last year. This group accomplishes has had an impressive impact on the local watershed and environmental concerns considering its limited resources and size. There are a number of highly committed individuals and they do a lot of community outreach through nature walks, educational programs, being active to preserve sites and natural areas, and have remarkably successful. However, it is an area with many environmental stresses and there is always more need than people and the current infrastructure can support. I strongly urge anyone interested in this area to support this group and what they are doing in any way that you can! I would love to see them grow to the next level and be able to do even more!
