Review for J'Burgh, Pittsburgh, PA, USA
I was sent to work in Da 'Burgh for 6 month. When I moved there I knew absolutely no one in the city. David Katz (director of J'Burgh) was my first friend in town. Through J'Burgh I made friends and business contacts. I learned my way around the city and basically always had something to do that was both fun and stimulating. The program, while still fairly young, is growing every month and it continues to improve. At the end of my time in Pittsburgh, I returned home and soon found myself wishing that my city had a program like J'Burgh.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
my time spent in Pittsburgh. The staff is energetic and motivated. They want you to have a great experience and it shows.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the variety of programming. One week we're playing kickball the next week we're at a museum. It was great.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
outstanding! David Katz is amazing at what he does. He really is the backbone of the organization. I will say, though, that he also has a great support structure.
