Review for Operation Understanding DC, Washington, DC, USA
OUDC was an amazingly effective facilitator of cultural, religious, historical and social exploration. It expanded my understanding of complex social issues and helped me grow to be comfortable engaging in dialogue on tough issues, even with people I don't know well. It also gave me a better understanding of who I am.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
How much more diverse it made my social circle, how much more comfortable and well-equipped I feel engaging in serious dialogue, and the bonding among participants that took place.
Ways to make it better...
The staff was slightly less religiously (or a-religiously) biased in the religious education/exploration events they chose to include in the program (at least with the former staff).
