Review for IKAR, Los Angeles, CA, USA
My family moved from Shul to Shul to Shul to Shul over a 4 year period, wandering through the Los Angeles landscape searching for a spiritual home for my wife and me, along with our "coming of age" daughters. Our searching ended when we discovered Ikar in the Fall of 2005. We finally found a place that felt like home. Our family joyously celebrated the girls B'Nai Mitzvah at Ikar in July 2007 and we have davened, danced, laughed, kibbitzed, and actively voluteered ever since.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Finally launch our Pre-School, hire additional staff and Rabbi, buy a building of our own that would be our home, along with other like minded progressive Jewish organizations
