I have walked in the past and supported SGK with donations but no longer. They say they were not influenced by right wing politics, however they also quietly defunded stem cell research to several major medical schools and universities...Johns Hopkins, Yale, etc...sort of makes it look like they do have a political agenda. If you really pay attention, they spend way to much money on fund raising and marketing anyway. Nancy Brinker makes several hundred thousand dollars a year in salary, I believe. She is incredibly wealthy. Why not forgo the salary? She certainly doesn't need it. My money will go directly to the charities I deem worthy from now on. I was getting really sick of the whole pink thing anyway!!!
