While I care greatly about the funding breast cancer research and prevention, and have given money to this charity in the past, I am shocked by Komen's recent moral cowardice in discontinuing its financial support for Planned Parenthood. If Susan G. Komen is not going to support an organization on the front lines of providing breast cancer screening and other vital services to underprivileged women, then it is nothing more than a pink ribbon waving P.R. machine.
