I used to support this organization, until it was taken over by a politcal grandstander who has put the issues ahead of the women whose lives she is supposed to protect and better. Removing funding from Planned parenthood is detrimental, sad and altogether opposite what I thought Komen was for. She supported women, their health and their right to make informed decisions and have access to low cost screening centers for breast cancer. Now the Komen foundation just wants to press the anti-choice message to the poorest areas by forcing them to have children in poor conditions and poor family situations.
