Review for SUSAN G KOMEN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION, INC., Dallas, TX, USA
I first became concerned about SGK when I learned they were bullying other charities for using the phrase "for the cure" to raise money/awareness for worthy causes. Their recent decision to deny funding to Planned Parenthood to support breast exams and mammograms to economically disadvantaged women is the last straw. I have participated in several SGK fundraisers but will no longer support their charity, and I plan to convince my employer to no longer have a team participate in our local race in May.
