I spent two days at Front Range for research on a book I'm writing about equine rescues and sanctuaries. I've visited many fine places around the U.S. but I can say with all sincerity that Front Range stands out as a superb rescue, organization, and group of people. I was impressed by the number of rescues they take in and their adoption rate; the training and rehabilitation program for the horses, the barns and pastures, and the level of healthcare given to horses that arrive at their facility. Front Range also offers an unique education program in the summer for kids, which I was able to observe. I had the impression the kids were not only having a good time but also learning about horses, horse care, and humane treatment of all animals.
