Allen ANDERSON
Review for Partnership With Native Americans, Addison, TX, USA
i think this org could learn from another organization the Native American heritage assoc out in rapid city SD. from what I can tell they do much the same work this org does ambit among a differ group of native Americans and a different part of the country but they seem to have learned how do it much better as they have earned charity navigators highest rating for many years. personally I am more inclined to give to an org that has maintained a very high standard of fund raising efficiency for many years vs one that has not. maybe the two org should combine.

Allen, I am writing this in behalf of National Relief Charities. We appreciate your comment. We are constantly working to reduce the cost of fundraising, which is primarily postage required for direct mail. It is also important to realize that Charity Navigator has stated financials should not be the basis for evaluating a charity, effectiveness should. You can find their article at http://www.charityevaluator.com/pdf/Worst_Way_to_Pick_A_Charity_Dec_1_2009.pdf. We would invite you to learn more about the programmatic impact of the organizations and allow that information to influence your giving. Please also feel free to contact us directly to learn more about our reach, services, approach to working in Indian country, track record, and impact. You can call 877-281-0808 or email PR@nrc1.org. Thanks again.
