Review for Peace And Paws, Hillsborough, NH, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Peace And Paws brought me my Best Friend, Nicki. They literally brought him to me. I found This little border collie mix pup on Petfinder and i went to the website for the rescue that had him, Peace and paws, and even though i realized they were located in New Hampshire and i myself live in Virginia, i asked if it would be possible for me to adopt the puppy. They approved my application, they were very nice and worked with me and my special situation. We worked out a way that i could meet the transport somewhere closer to where i live, since the puppy was being rescued from a kill shelter in Mississippi. I met the transport only an hour or so away from where i live and they handed me complete medical records and my wonderful and healthy baby boy who has given me nothing but love ever since. Thank you Peace ad Paws!

Review for Novaco Inc, Reston, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

NOVACO, truly turns lives around. The transitional housing program is well set up and i have seen it really make a difference in peoples lives. The staff really cares about their clients and they become like family with their clients. Even going to their clients kids school functions or weddings. They help set them up with jobs, and housing and really get them back on their feet and help them help themselves and learn to be independent and self -sufficient. I am very blessed to be able to volunteer with an organization that truly helps change lives for the better.

Review for Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation, Arlington, VA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This rescue has changed my life! I have always been an animal lover but have never had the knowledge or resources to really help on a large scale. I have learned so much from working with Lost Dog, I now understand what it means to really be a responsible pet owner. I also understand how much effort and sacrifice it takes to make what they do possible. Lost Dog really appreciates there volunteers even if you are just helping with something small or donating and they make it so easy for you to be a part of the Lost Dog team. I started with handling dogs and getting them adopted, then helping finalize adoptions. I even started to foster and go on transports to rescue animals right from the shelter. They have saved thousands of dogs and helped them find there perfect forever homes, and i'm glad i can help them continues to save thousand more.
